25 8x10 original photos of Joseph Horne department store, 1937, getting renovated after massive 1936 flood
All photos in very good condition, some mounted on card stock, and mostly showing renovations to the front entrance as well as the back loading zone and side doors. Dated for the most part early 1937. The 1936 Pittsburgh flood did great damage to the downtown area, and some of the most iconic photos showed the water to be nearly at the top of the grand front entrance to the Horne department store. Light wear to some of the mounts. A couple photos have captions on the verso. Item #H8431
Price: $300.00
