Hardcover, large 4to., full maroon leather binding, gilt title and 5 raised bands on the spine, aeg. 232 pp., with 60 tissue-covered engraved plates and an engraved title page. Both covers are loose, but present, and show some scratching and edgewear; also lacks the bottom 2-inches of the spine leather. However, the contents are in excellent condition: clean, bright and unmarked. The text-block is strong and secure. The plates for this book were first published in 1854 under a different title, still they are scarce in any edition. Good / No Jacket. Item #0073412
