Discoloration on the front blank (affects the inscription, but not tragic); old newspaper clipping about Farnam tipped-in to verso of the title page, causing light offsetting to the two adjacent pages; former owner's notes on the blank of the laid-in photo, detailing the position of T. G. Bennet, E. H. Jenkins, and the President of Yale, Arthur Twining Hadley. Edward H. Jenkins graduated from Yale in 1872. Sound binding. Farnam was an economics professor at Yale. A rare title.
