Lima was a Cuban-born poet, playwright and professor at Penn State; he edited and translated the first critical book on Borges to appear in English and was also quite friendly with Mario Vargas Llosa, among other Latin Americans. Arauz is a poet, literary and art theorist, and editor born in Bolivia in 1946--he appeared in the anthology "The Stiffest of the Corpse" (edited by Andrei Codrescu, City Lights Books, 1989).
