Very good, tight very good binding, old inscription on flyleaf and a long poem written on the rear flyleaf, dated 1857, titled "Dear Nell, I am turning a wreath for thee" that begins, "When I am gone, may it speak of me / yet I know that I shall never be forgot..." Also with a sheet of blue paper pasted to rear pastedown with language-of-flowers notations. RARE. From a phrenological publishing company and seems to be an etiquette and advice book from a slightly homeopathic and phrenological point of view. Very Good. Item #C000015612
