Accompanied by a note from March 13, 1976 that reads, 'I greatly appreciate your generous gift and hope that I shall soon have time to read it, even though of couse I shall never full understand it -- I enclose a collection of recent things, none of which are profound or important...' Nice assemblage from one major University of Pittsburgh philosopher inscribed to Grunbaum, who was recently described as the most important living philosopher of science.
