Book is large square quarto, stiff wraps, 192 pp., illustrated. Fine unread copy. The original pohto measures 8 x 10 and depicts the Just Right Bar-B-Cue shop, probably in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. It has the Harris Studio stamp on rear and is dated 1974. Condition is about fine, lightest surface soil. Original Teenie Harris (1908-1998) photographs are RARE on the market. Harris lived in Pittsburgh's Hill District, was one of the chief photographers of Black life in Pittsburgh from the 1930s on, and was known as "One Shot Harris" for his quick journalistic studies that told evocative stories.
