London: Various, 1883-1893. Hardcover. Bound in old maroon buckram gilt, edges slightly trimmed, some with original red wrapper covers bound in, various editions and with some in multiple editions with corrections and revisions. Contains some of George Bernard Shaw's earliest published pieces; he would become the Fabian Society's most prominent pamphleteer. Binding lightly used at the joints, contents VG. Unlike other collections of Fabian Tracts on the market that are reprints from the 1910s, this appears to be a compilation of the original publications from the 1880s and 1890s. Very Good.
