Philadelphia: Hopkins, 1889. Hardcover. Folio, 19.5 inches tall, original cloth boards, recent cloth spine, with double-page index map, 22 double-page maps, plus two single page maps of the sewer and water systems. Maps cover all the area between the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers east of downtown and west of Shadyside, thus, Oakland, Hazelwood, Uptown, Lawrenceville, Strip District, parts of Hill District and parts of the Second Avenue zone along the Monongahela, opposite the South Side. Thus, despite the ward numbers, does NOT include Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Point Breeze, etc. Light wear and loss to index map including some splitting at the fold, repaired tear to plate 7, eastern Strip District, occasional light finger soil, but in general a very good atlas indeed, showing neighborhoods in the Oakland area that don't really exist anymore: Minersville, Millwood and Springfield, for example. Very Good. Item #H10182

Price: $400.00
