Original typescript for Irvin Faust's collection of short stories. Unbound sheets. With 2 letters by Faust to Matthew Bruccoli both dated 1983, two years before the book's publication by Dutton, both seemingly asking Bruccoli to either publish the book himself or to promote it ("act as my southern agent"). As Faust writes, 'I'm tired of the NY ratrace and want to deal with a mensch.' Printed on rectos only. 5 of the stories that had been previously published are presented here in photocopies from their original publication. Paper clip indent to first 40 pages.
