1920 Real Photo Postcard: Opening of the Island of Rest (St. Petersburg, Russia)

Unused, but with some pencil notations on verso. On June 20, 1920 the "Blockade of Russia" happened in Petrograd on the island of Kammeny Ostrov, north of Petrograd Quarter, where a mock invasion of Russia was staged with fireworks, circus elements, clows and mimes, etc, and the country is "saved" by the Red Army.
