Rare pamphlet & 10 postcards of Montecassino Abbey, 1945, a year after the battle there

11 pp. pamphlet in English about the abbey, which was founded in 529 AD, and its destruction in May, 1944 from Allied bombing in a huge battle that cost hundreds of lives of civilians. Some wear and tanning; laid in are ten before-and-after postcards with two views each, very heartbreaking images. The postcards are blank and in excellent condition.
