Philadelphia: Porter & Coates, C. 1881. 7.6 inches tall, cord-bound with celluloid yellow covers with hand painted daisies on front cover, about 40 pp, printed on rectos only, with illustrations by Darley, McCutcheon, Fredericks, Perkins, King, Riordan and Northam. Very good, covers foxed or spotty, contents very good. The publishers issued this volume in a variety of gifty formats, usually decorated embossed hardback, sometimes faux alligator leather, sometimes decorated cloth, but this format is very rare.
