Pittsburgh: Allegheny Preparatory School, 1903. 10.5 x 8 inches, wraps, very good with some soil to covers. 22 pp, with frontispiece of the gymnasium team. The school opened in 1898 on what is now Pittsburgh's North Side, but by 1911 was losing money due to competition and the strictures of its premises; space allowed for each grade to be only about 15 students -- by 1917 it was forced to close. Contains essays on some historical figures, notes on some of the students, etc. Very Good. Item #H15028
