London: Ackermann, ca. 1843-1844. Visible part of print measures 11.5 x 9 inches, handsomely triple-matted and framed; frame measures approx. 19 x 16 inches, nice presentation. Prince Maximillian and his servant arrived in Pittsburgh in late September of 1832 and stayed until early October. The Prince was impressed with the new facility and wrote about it as a positive example for Europeans to follow. Not examined outside of the frame. Fine. Item #H15369
