Virginia Beach: Mcintosh Portraits, 2014. First printing. Paperback. Very rare, only 1 located by OCLC, at the Chrysler Museum in VA. Quarto, wraps, near fine, 75 pp, illustrated in color throughout. Inscribed to well known Martins Ferry OH photographer Jay Stock very fondly and citing their close friendship of over 60 years. The author grew up in Norfolk VA during the Depression, and got started in business, operating a photography studio in Virginia, in 1950. Eventually the business grew to be the largest of its kind in Virginia, and in 1989 the Eastman Kodak Company proclaimed him one of the seven top portrait photographers in the world; as a result, he was featured on a nationally televised special on the Learning Channel on "Techniques of the Masters."
