Small quarto (9.2 x 7.5 inches), rebound in full dark brown calf retaining much of the original leather for the front and rear boards, raised bands, what appears to be the original title label, some restoration evident to inner hinges, first two blank leaves somewhat edgeworn, contents otherwise very good, xx, 622 pp. plus errata. A Scottish mathematician, Malcolm was best known for his treatise on music published in 1721. This may be of interest to economists, too, in its chapters devoted to alligation, interest, rates of exchange, annuities, etc. Very Good. Item #H16261
