New York: British Library of Information, 1939-1940. Paperback. Lot of 5 items of a few pages each, good to very good with some soil to covers. Originally in favor of appeasement in 1938, Wood changed his mind with Hitler's invasion of Czechoslovakia and was entirely on board with the war effort. He effectively declined the Prime Ministership in favor of Churchill, feeling that Churchill would be the better fit. Very Good. Item #H16862
