Girard, KS: Haldeman-Julius, C. 1945. First printing. Paperback. 11 x 8.5 inches, signed as usual on cover, and inscribed to Monroe Wheeler on title page. Very good with just slight wear and soil, replete with b/w reproductions of Walkowitz's drawings. First written in 1913, this is the first of the Haldeman-Julius edition. Wheeler at the time was a curator and director at the Museum of Modern Art. Walkowitz was a modernist associated with Stieglitz's Gallery 291. Very Good. Item #H16930
