Can All This Grandeur Perish? and other stories -- dedication copy
New York: Vanguard, (1937). First printing. Hardcover. Cloth in dust jacket, book very good, light general wear, spine label tanned, in what is apparently a supplied dust jacket from another copy, very good, some mellowing to spine, light wear, appears to have original glassine folded around it. Apparently one of the dedication copies; the printed dedication is to Jack Sullivan and Mary Hunter; "Jimmy" is written below that dedication and Mary Hunter's pencil signature is on flyleaf. She was a theatrical impresario. The dust jacket must have been supplied because an old clipped catalog listing for this copy is loosely inserted into the book and makes no mention of a jacket. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann. Very Good / very good. Item #H17056
