York, PA: 1929-1932. Hardcover. Utilizing a 1917 Year Book published by the F. W. Dodge Co. of NY, but from 1929-1932, 270 pp. of cartoons, jokes, drawings, gags and comics drawn when the artist was between 11 and 14 years old. He went on to become a widely published cartoonist. Frick's cartoons appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, Christian Science Monitor, Argosy, and many other national periodicals in the 1940s and 1950s. Condition is good with some wear, rubbing and discoloration to binding, contents very good, showing comics-influenced cartoons and drawings that demonstrate the young artist's budding talent and humor.
