Tall folio; 24.5 x 17.5 inches, original cloth boards, good copy: recent amateur re-cornering and respining with cloth, contents good to very good, inner hinges strengthened with cloth, light ex-library marks from Carnegie Inst. of Technology (later CMU): old faint purple stamp to title page and to four of the plates at the margin, light edgewear to flyleaves and to lithographed title page. With 4 pp. text, engraved dedication leaf and 61 lithographed plates, many tinted, one or two in colors, scattered foxing to most plates but not heavy, last few plates with light edgewear. A solid copy of this very rare book; no copies currently for sale in commerce, and last copy at auction was a slightly better copy at Sotheby's in 1983 for 121 GBP. Good. Item #H17381
