Hardcover. 5 volumes total, the first edition of the first volume from 1966, very good in used dust jacket with light stains to front flyleaf, with Goldman's estate stamp, "From the Library of William Goldman (1931-2018) jrg." Laid into the first volume is a roughly opened gray envelope addressed to Goldman from McDowall with a note on McDowall's stationary thanking Goldman for his kindness (for the first volume, Goldman contributed a page on Robert Redford). Plus the second printing of Double Exposure from 1990 and the subsequent issues in first editions of Takes 2, 3 and 4 from 1989, 1992 and 1993, all of which have the estate stamp from Goldman's library. Mainly about fine in dust jackets, slight small stain to front panel of the jacket of Taje 2. McDowall's photographs accompanied by an astonishing array of contributors' notes on the subjects.
