New York: Andrews, Printer, Ca. 1855. 8.6 x 5.5 inches, good with some short tears and neat repairs with pH-neutral document repair tissue to verso, with spots of red wax on the back by which this was affixed to an album. Wolf, American Song Sheets, 669. OCLC locates a copy at the New York Historical Society and there is a copy in the LOC Song Sheets collection, and since Wolf's collection is at the Library Company, that makes at least three known copies. The ballad first appeared in Blackwood's Magazine in 1830. Good. Item #H19185
