Tall quarto (14.25 x 11 inches), leather backed yellow pictorial boards, very good, light wear, rubbing and discoloration to boards, very minor restoration to inner hinges, with 14 pages of color lithographs, 40 images in total, that a child could possibly cut out and paste into a scrap-book. The cover illustration of a lion and an artist-monkey was done by Alfred Crowquill, pseud. of Alfred Henry Forrester, and it could be that the illustrations inside are also by him.
