Paris: Lavy & Neurbein, Ca. 1915. Paperback. 6 x 3.5 inches, wraps, housing 24 detachable postcards in browntone with onionskin plate guards, very good, light wear and soil, with 1pp. map of Arles and short introduction in French and English. WWI era. The Church of St. Trophime is a Roman Catholic church and former cathedral. It was built between the 12th century and the 15th century, and is in the Romanesque architectural tradition. The sculptures over the church's portal, particularly the Last Judgement, and the columns in the adjacent cloister, are considered some of the finest examples of Romanesque sculpture. These photos show how the church would have looked in Van Gogh's time. Very Good. Item #H19887
