First issue of this journal of film criticism that came before the concept of "art film" was really defined; thus, American examples included "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Longest Day," whereas Italian and Japanese films were more on target with Antonioni and Kurosawa. Articles on Mastroianni, Cannes, Sophie Loren, Seduction and Censorship--and interview with Radley Metzger, Kurosawa, etc. The magazine seems to have lasted till 1965. Very Good. Item #H20307
