In 1933, his family emigrated to Germany. In 1940, RN Redlich graduated in philosophy from the University of Berlin. He professed the principles of solidarity. In the same year he joined the National Union of Working People (NTS). He completed propaganda courses at the Abwehr camp in Wustrau. In the years 1942 - 1943 he traveled around POW camps for Red Army soldiers, conducting anti - communist agitation. In the summer of 1943, on the orders of the NTS leadership, he left for the occupied territories of the USSR In July 1944 , the Gestapo tried to arrest him for anti-German activities, but he escaped and was hiding as Captain Vorobiov. After the end of the war in 1946, he joined the Council and Executive Office of the NTS. In the years 1947 - 1955 he conducted training courses for activists in the NTS. At the same time, he was academically involved in the history of Russian literature, philosophy and pedagogy.
