Oblong 8vo, 8.5 x 5.5 inches, cloth, very good, light wear, with owner's name & info on flyleaf and inscription from author on half title, from 1905 "with the regards of the author" with a four-line poem. 126 pp, with b/w ink-blot Rorschach style plates and facing short poems on the ink-blot art by Fagnani, some of them quite good and reminiscent of Emily Dickinson. Many of the ink blots look like they were worked on artistically by Fagnani, and others are surreal and left to the viewer's interpretation a la Rorschach. Rare book, especially so inscribed, and a small milestone in the history of interpreting abstract images. Very Good. Item #H20704
