Hardcover. 9 x 6.25 inches, publisher's green cloth gilt, good with general darkening and edgewear to binding, restoration using cloth along joints and spine ends, spine color mellowed to a dark reddish brown; new endpapers, appears to be resewn or reglued -- book does not open completely but definitely enough to read and use, light ink stain to top edge of text block to last several leaves, a few leaves with light edgewear. 456 pp, illustrated with plates throughout, 24 engraved plates at rear as well.
