Single volume of this valuable journal that was published from 1775 to 1784. 8vo, contemporary half brown leather and marbled boards, good to very good, general modest rubbing and wear to binding, bookplate of the Jefferson College Philo-Literary Society and a handwritten presentation to the Society by Charles Shaler of Pittsburgh in 1826, also signed by Shaler on the title page. 386 pp, 4 pp. index. One of the most detailed and accurate contemporary reportages of the American Revolution. Shaler, the previous owner (1789-1869) was a prominent Pittsburgh-area judge. Almon's great service was to reprint reports on the Revolution from both American and English papers. Good. Item #H22947
