Hardcover. 8vo, 7 x 4.75 inches, old quarter black morocco over boards; an incomplete copy of the small-paper edition, lacking title page and introductory pages, begins with the title page, with a complete catalog of all 32 days of the famous sale; xxxi-xxxvii, 431 pp, with a number of engraved plates throughout. All of the other editions we've seen offered for sale are larger and 357 pp, so we assume this is a cheaper edition possibly issued for the curious. Erroneously titled on spine in gilt, "Guide to the Knowledge of Pottery, Porcelain." Book is handsomely bound and the contents are very good, slight toning. Good. Item #H25871
