Quarto, 13.5 x 10 inches, gray cloth with acetate dust jacket in slipcase, book fine, jacket very good with some short tears to upper spine, slipcase very good with a few stains that almost look like pencil lines but can't be erased, and light wear. With 9 etchings, including the colophon and short texts interleaved with the etchings, beautifully printed on Rives paper (a thick cottony paper), with images taken from her trips in the Tongass nature reserves that include most of southeast Alaska, so huge that it includes both temperate rain forests and glaciers. Adele was married to the author Louis Auchincloss. She died in 1991 of bone marrow cancer. Fine / very good. Item #H26312
