2 leaves from an 18th century Slavonic Russian prayer book

2 leaves, matted and with acetate or mylar overlays. The sheets measure 8.5 x 7 inches and are double sided, in red and black, with the black parts seemingly printed and the red parts hand-drawn and illuminated. The mats are slightly different sizes as is the visible area: 8 x 6.25 for the leaf in the tan mat, 8 x 5.5 inches for the one in the green mat. Condition is very good with light soil, tanning and darkening. We're taking the date of 18th century on faith from the old printseller's pencil notes on one of the mats, but this is not our area of expertise. Very good. Item #H26329
