Hardcover. 8vo, blue rexine gilt in dust jacket, very good, inscribed to Dan Simpson by the author in 1988, small flyer laid in about how to reach the author, who was Primate at the Armenian Prelacy in Lebanon. Now called Aram I, he has been the head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia since 1995 and resides in Antelias, Lebanon. 74 pp. Simpson was the United States Ambassador to the Central African Republic (1990–92), Special Envoy to Somalia and the United States Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (1995–98) as well as undertaking other overseas assignments in Burundi, South Africa, Zaire (on three separate occasions) Iceland, Lebanon and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
