Pittsburgh: 1857-1864. Wraps. Bound in recent marbled wraps, 6 pamphlets of annual reports from Allegheny City, now the north side of Pittsburgh, all in good to very good condition with original wraps bound in, old ink stamps from the Carnegie Free Library of Allegheny, no deaccession marks but we did confirm this was withdrawn. Each report is 18-26 pp, some with folding charts. The titles change slightly from one year to the next, but all are the reports of select committees in Allegheny plus the report of the "Steward of the Poor Farm." Some have folding charts of expenditures at the poor farm. Excellent primary historical material for anyone studying the economics of Pittsburgh in the mid 19th century. Good. Item #H26713
