Black cloth gilt, in dust jackets, books very good to fine with light offsetting (tanning) to endpapers, most minor wear, jackets very good or better with lightest edgewear and soil. A superior set of this classic of Civil War history, more esteemed by some experts than the author's Pulitzer-winning biography of Lee himself. Near fine / very good. Item #H27091
