La Dame Aux Gants Verts, Comédie en trois actes - inscribed to theatrical director Edmond Roze
Tourville-la-Riviere: Montjoie, 1934. Paperback. First edition, 1934, 500 copies printed, orange wraps, inscribed very fondly to Edmond Roze, with whom he clearly had worked. Roze was a director, actor and set designer who later was killed by Nazis at Auschwitz. Fauchois was a well known playwright, who began writing comedies after being pegged as a plodding author of grand verse epics. One of his plays was the inspiration for 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills.' Almost entirely unopened. Spine a little faded. Very Good. Item #H2797
Price: $150.00
