October has what looks like a colored lithograph frontispiece by Millet, continues with the third part of "Xaviere" with more engravings by Boutet de Monvel, an article on women's dress during the Revolution and Directorate, with engravings by Louis Morin, all colored, an article on the Hotel Rothschild with engravings after "clichets" by Chalot, article on Theophile Gauthier with engraved plates, and a survey of the exhibition at the Champ de Mars by Dayot, with two engravings after paintings by Manet: Woman with Parasol and Portrait of Antonin Proust, and engravings after Millet, Delacroix, Gericault, Corot and others.
