First edition in book form. 2 volumes, bound in the early 20th century by Worsfold in full dark blue calf, double gilt ruled borders, maroon spine labels, raised bands, floral gilt decorations to spine, all edges gilded, bookplates from 1920 designed by the Boston architect Richard Clipston Sturgis for Magdalen Louise Klein Brown (who lived in Marblehead). Light rubbing to binding, contents very good, plates tend to be a little more tanned and spotty than the text. Very good. Item #H29517
