1933 typed letter, signed, to an editor, explaining that the Saturday Evening Post doesn't allow reprinting, etc.

On 7 x 5.5 inches stationary bordered in black (her husband died in 1932), a little more than 1 pp, to a Mr. MacManus, who apparently had plans for a magazine and wanted to reprint something Rinehart had published in the Saturday Evening Post. "It seems to me that your plan for a magazine for your own people is very like you, and certainly I would be glad to cooperate with you if I could," but as she explains the Post has an "unbreakable rule" about letting others reprint material from there. She is happy, however, to ask them, just in case. She ends, "I am so sorry about the breakdowns. I am just trying to pull out of one myself." Signed in full. On stationary with her Washington DC address. Very good. Item #H30493
