First edition of the first published original works by Guitry (he translated an Aristophanes play in 1906 that possibly saw publication). 8vo, bound in blue cloth, gilt titled on spine, inscribed very fondly to Edmond Roze, the director, actor and set designer, who would collaborate with Guitry on a number of projects. Roze died at Auschwitz in 1943. An excellent association copy of the rare first works of a major French theatrical figure. Very Good. Item #H3157
