1870s-1880s album of Swedish-American families in LaPorte Indiana

Hardcover. 11 x 9 inches, decorated leather, binding somewhat worn with recent cloth over spine and to inner hinges. With 10 cabinet photos and 30 CDVs (smaller photos). Not many identified by name -- the name "Bolf" appears on some, but the great majority are from photo studios in LaPorte, IN, a few are from Sweden and there are a few scraps with Swedish language (LaPorte had a large population of Swedes starting in the 1860s), so we feel confident in thinking the families represented in this book had their roots in Sweden. And that's all we know! Good. Item #H31738
