The previous owner told us she commissioned and purchased this directly from Ando. Arnell Ando is considered by many to be one of the top tarot card makers in the world, and her Transformational Tarot is considered one of the greatest recent contributions to the tarot tradition. The box and the cards make use of popular images from early 20th century advertising and fashion, plus allegorical images and Ando's own artwork to create complex, dense and multi-layered images replete with hidden meanings and connections that serve only to enhance and deepen the tarot experience.
