Wraps. 8.5 x 11 inch flyer, mounted to thin cardboard backing, some tanning and stains from the glue, advertising the "Sacred Concert" with Duke Ellington on piano plus select members of his orchestra, at the Munn Ave. church on Tuesday February 17, 1970. With 8x10 photo in very good condition showing Ellington going over the music and program with Rev. Richard Szeremany, the pastor, and Bernice Maxwell. And with program, 8.5 x 11 inches, glossy wraps, 16 pp. in very good condition. Program featured Harry Carney, Johnny Hodges, Russell Procope, Jeff Castleman, Cootie Williams, Tony Watkins, the percussion section, Praise God and Dance by the entire company featuring Paul Gonsalves, Jimmy Hamilton and Cat Anderson. 700 people came to the concert. This material is from the collection of the pastor, Szeremany, who relocated in Pittsburgh and was the organist at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church for some years. Very good. Item #H34079
