Wraps. Nice group of brochures, booklets, passenger lists, receipts, etc., mainly for travel in Italy in 1937 with some on Switzerland and Germany. In no particular order we have: 1) Information for Tourist Class Passengers on the Motor Vessels "Saturnia" & "Vulcania." Trieste, Cosulich S.T.N. (1936). 8 x 5 inches, wraps, 64 pp, text first in Italian then in English. 2) 7 x 4.5 inches tan Cunard White Star Limited envelope for baggage labels with single label inside, "Italia Flotte Riunite" for 2nd class passage, string still attached, slight wear. 3) Cunard White Star Sailing List, July 1937. 6.5 x 4 inches, wraps, fine. 31 pp, printed in browntone, list of destinations, fares, etc. 4) How To See Rome and its Environs. Single sheet brochure, folds out to 24 x 6.5 inches. 5) Guide-Panorama of the Rhine from Mayence to Cologne. 9.75 x 4.5 inches, wraps with folding color bird's-eye view map that's 64 inches long, very good, owner signature on cover from August 1937. 6) 1936 booklet on Milan, published by the Direzione Generale per il Turismo. 7.5 x 5.25 inches, wraps, very good. About 30 pp, illustrated with b/w photos. 7) Similar book to no. 6, on Florence. Same condition, pagination, dimensions. 8) Norddeutscher Lloyd Bremen Passagier Liste. 7.5 x 5 inches, Booklet, about 30 pp, fine. Seems to be a passenger list for the twin-screw Columbus from August 1935, Bremen to NY. 9) Passenger List, "Vulcania" Tourist Class, Italian Line. 1937. 7.75 x 4.5 inches, wraps, very good, light soil to covers, 16 pp, some notes in ink on the passengers. 10) Red cloth ribbon or bookmark NGL Genova, Duilio, about 9.5 inches long. 11) 1934 viewbook of Switzerland published by the Swiss Railways Publicity Office in Berne. 8.5 x 6 inches, wraps, very good. 64 pp, lots of photos with captions printed in a dark sea-green. 12) Handsome farewell dinner menu from the steamship Deutschland, Hamburg-Amerika Linie, July 10, 1935, 10 x 4.5 inches, with a "door" that opens to show the menu in German and English. A couple small stains. 13) Approximately 30 sheets of correspondence, receipts, invoices, etc., from CIT(Compagnia Italiana Turismo) in NY, The Italian Line, Cunard White Star, etc., mainly 1936-37, mainly reference the Vulcania, includes a typed itinerary -- Naples, Pompei, Capri, Rome, Florence, Milan, Interlaken, Lucerne, Heidelberg, etc., invoice from the Hotel Regina in Venice, Italian Line receipt for roundtrip to Naples from NY. 14) When Will You Come to Italy? 1936 booklet on travel advice published by the Direzione Generale per il Turismo. 8 x 5 inches, wraps, very good, light wear and soil. About 30 pp, illustrated, text in English -- suggestions and guidance for tourists. 15) Italy (similar guide to no. 14). 7.5 x 5.5 inches, wraps, very good, light soil to covers, 31 pp, illustrated, text in English.
