Large 8vo, 9.25 x 6 inches, ex-library Cromwell Library of the American Bar Foundation with their bookplates, small stamp on flyleaves, pockets on rear pastedowns, texts otherwise free of marks, some foxing, in full early 20th century ruddy tan calf with red leather spine labels, light rubbing and scuffing mainly to spines. A handsome enough mid-19th century edition with a Life of the author and commentary by Christian, Chitty, Lee, Hovenden, and Ryland, and also references to American cases "by a member of the New York Bar."
