Large promotional flyer x 3 for Miller and Bezalel Schatz's "Into the Night Life" (1947)
Big Sur (?): 1947. Actually, 3 copies: one has "Now $175.00" in bold red with an arrow. 12 x 9" doublesided, all very good with light wear -- corner bumping, one with a very short tear to top edge ... reprinting the review by Bufano that appeared in the June-July 1947 issue of What's Doing. Probably issued by Miller himself but we're unsure. The book was published in Berkeley in 1947 in a limited edition that was entirely screen printed. It has asking prices of upwards of $1500 these days. This flyer is rare in the trade and unclear if there are any copies at all in institutions, except perhaps in the Philip Peatman collection.
