Publisher's pebbled blue cloth gilt, fair copy with some rubbing and wear to binding, particularly edges of boards, corners and spine ends, ex-library stamps from Ohio State University in Columbus including a "Cancelled" stamp on one of the first pages. Contents good but appears to be lacking folding frontispiece and at least one other folding map; has large folding map at rear of Ohio coal fields with extensive old paper patching to its verso and lighter more recent repairs to recto (detached but present), has single page color map of Montgomery County and 3 sectional geological plates. Ownership signatures of W. A. Dun (Walter Angus Dun, a farmer in southern Ohio who had extensive land holdings) and C. Leo Snell (?). Fair. Item #H38414
