Quarto, 14 x 11.75 inches, publisher's dark charcoal cloth, good minus copy with binding somewhat used and worn along edges, corners, spine, light restoration to inner hinges, flyleaves creased, rumpled and a little worn, with previous owner's notes, doodles, etc. Contents mainly very good, occasional short tear and smudges. 194 pp, with the first 80 pp. devoted to buildings and exhibitions at the fair, Chicago sights and scenery, buildings, parks, churches, neighborhoods; the maps are in color and mainly very good. The map of Pennsylvania has some notes along the left margin in ink and pencil, including the sad reflection, "Times were good when I purchased this atlas." Besides state maps, has city maps of Chicago, New York, Boston and Philadelphia. Good. Item #H39370
